Keeping in mind that this is the first time that many of you are stepping out of the comfort of your own homes to partake in such a new, intriguing experience, the orientation has been specifically designed to act as a launch pad, after which you will be able completely immerse yourself into the full experience that this program has to offer. We want to make your transition into Amman, and your journey with the Arabic language and all the wonders it has to offer, as smooth as possible and transform your anticipation and anxiety into excitement and zeal!

As we want you to quickly acclimate to your new surroundings, you will be provided with basic information about your academic life at the Wafid Arabic Institute, information on volunteering opportunities that will help you immerse in this society and culture, and a miniature guide of Amman to make it easier for you to get around in the city.

Speaker sessions and interactions with your future faculty, key staff members and the faculty advisor will help answer all of your questions about the program and courses, logistics, and your potential career options.
